"Arise, Shine, For Thy Light Is Come"
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord, 
, is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness has covered the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord, , has arisen upon thee, and His glory is being seen upon thee (Isaiah 60:1-2).
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined (Isaiah 9:2).
The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord, , shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God, , thy glory (Isaiah 60:19).
Come and give unto the Lord, , O ye kindreds of the people, the glory that is due unto His name, and declare His praise in the islands (Psalm 96:7-8; Isaiah 42:12). High Holy Days

(Deuteronomy 10:12, 13)
In keeping with those Scriptures, has commanded us to observe two upcoming holy days for our good, which are everlasting covenants throughout all of our generations. They are:
The Memorial Blowing of Trumpets |
?...Speak unto the children of Israel , saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto ? (Leviticus 23:23-25).
Annually, Israel celebrates The Memorial Blowing of Trumpets as a reminder of the fact that if we break the laws of , we will be punished as a just reward.
On this high holy day, we reflect upon the fact that at one time we were a prosperous people, whom blessed abundantly for our obedience to His laws. However, once we turned from the laws of , He turned from us, and we were ultimately reduced to a state of degradation. Nevertheless, has proven Himself merciful, by sending His Son, , to not only rescue Israel from a world of sin, but to also return the rest of the world to the laws of as well. Therefore, we must always be thankful to and commemorate this statute as an ordinance forever.
The Day of Atonement Sundown September 23, 2004 to Sundown September 24, 2004 |
?Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls...For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people...it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings? (Leviticus 23:27, 29, 31).
The Day of Atonemen t is one of the most special occasions for Hebrew Israelites. Why? Because this day is the only day of the year when we are required to deny ourselves carnal food, so that we can focus exclusively on asking to cleanse us of all our transgressions since the last Day of Atonement.
We observe this day in absolute sincerity, as we ask for forgiveness for breaking His laws , and pray that in the future, He will keep us from these trangressions.
Remember! No food or drink is to be taken into the body on this day, which is a merciful exchange for the spiritual sustenance we shall receive from becoming at one with .
Charity
In our previous session, we began the process of understanding the virtue called charity that we might demonstrate it in our every day dealings. During this process, we found out that having charity entails showing love, which should first be directed toward , to ourselves, and then to our neighbors. We also pointed out that love is the ?unselfish? concern for the good of another. Furthermore, we established that this ?unselfish? concern is exemplified through our interest and regard for others; when we show that we do not think our personal needs and wishes to be more important than those of other people.
However, in this article, we shall introduce another aspect of charity , which determines that the concern--that is, the interest and regard--that we must first direct toward and then to ourselves and our neighbors must also be loyal .
The Encarta Reference Library 2004 , copyright 1993-2003, Computer Software defines loyal as ?faithful,? which is further clarified in the Concise Oxford Dictionary , Tenth Edition, Computer Software, as ?trustworthy.? On account of this information, it has been shown that our interest and regard for , ourselves, and our neighbors must be trustworthy . The next question we must raise is, What does it mean for our interest and regard to be trustworthy ? On the authority of The Oxford Dictionary and Thesaurus , copyright 1996, on page 1642, trustworthy is synonymous to ?honest.? To understand what the first synonym honest means, we shall consult with the Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary , copyright 1999, on page 556. In this source, honest is rendered as ?free from deception; genuine; real.? Deception is classified on page 298 as ?the act of deceiving,? while deceive means ?to give a false impression.?
In agreement with this information, charity requires that the interest and regard that we first direct toward , to ourselves, and to our neighbors, must be free from the act of giving a false impression. In order to avoid giving false impressions, our concern must always be genuine and real.

The Mark of The Beast: 666

?And he [the beast] causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads?:
In part three, we disclosed that there is forthcoming a disaster that will be so devastating that it will justify the suspension of the normal running of the constitution, and will give the beast [President George W. Bush] a reason to institute the mark of the beast. However, our research also exposed that all people--both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond--will have a choice to either take or refuse the ?mark? in their right hand or in their foreheads .
As we continued to decode, we defined the word mark from its Greek origin charagma , which was described as ?an etching, i.e. stamp (as a badge of servitude).? The word etching revealed that the mark of the beast shall be devices put on pieces of metal with a name or inscription produced by the action of acid .
Scriptural proof from Revelation 14:11 and 16:2 substantiated that grave consequences will follow all those who choose to take the ?mark? in their right hand or in their foreheads. To be even more specific with details there will be no rest for them at all, because they will be tormented day and night with grievous and noisome sores. Added to this, our facts also revealed that the acids from the devices on the pieces of metal put in their right hand or in their foreheads will become corrosive , and thereby cause an eating away and wasting of their bodies.
In this segment, we shall pick up with our definition of mark, by defining our next word in sequence: ?stamp.?
Stamp, on the authority of the Microsoft Encarta Dictionary, copyright 1993-2003, Computer Software, is defined as ?a characteristic impression.? And, in accordance with Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary , Tenth Edition, copyright 1999, on page 192, the word characteristic derives from the word ?character , ? which is defined on the same page as ?a cipher.?
Based upon these definitions, we can make a logical deduction that not only shall the mark of the beast represent devices put on pieces of metal with a name produced by the action of acid, but it shall also have a ciphered impression on it. The New Oxford American Dictionary , copyright 2001, Computer Software, references cipher as ?a code; a secret or disguised way of writing.? In others words, we can validate from these facts that the impression on the devices of metal shall represent a code or a secret or disguised way of writing.
The Random House Webster's Unabridged Dictionary , Computer Software, copyright 1999, references an impression as ?a figure.? Figure , in the same reference source, is described as ?a value expressed in numbers,? while the word value is documented as ?meaning.? From all of our gathered research, we can definitely confirm that the devices to be placed in the right hands or in the foreheads of the people shall have a code or a secret or disguised writing on them. In addition, this code or secret or disguised writing shall have a meaning that is expressed in numbers .
Thus, in order for us to fully understand what the mark of the beast really is, we must count the number of the beast, as pointed out in Revelation, Chapter 13:18:
?Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six?.
